Waiting

These verses are where I'm turning today - a day that's just a little hard....a waiting day...

God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" and,

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name. Hebrews 13:5, 15

Silly LC, sitting still for a minute on a scooter (all photos by BB this time)

Serious EG, practicing her roller skating, with LC behind her

MK - this one just made us laugh!!

CA - winding up to pitch a leaf into the creek, sporting her little bracelet

Counting many mercies, naming them one by one...

199 pink oleander in bushy bloom

200 tomato and sunflower plants that are suddenly thriving, rather than just surviving

201 waiting to know God's will...a wait that is very hard, but is clearly part of God's plan for our days of late

202 EG making pancakes by herself

203 MK and LC making granola very nearly by themselves, me nearby verbally guiding when needed

204 a super quiet and restful week with Gramma here (for all of us!)

205 Gramma's long and much-beloved bedtime stories...loved by the kids (she's created a character just for their stories) and for us (a break at bedtime)

206 a delicious summer thunderstorm: great-smelling, much-needed rain, dramatic lightning
