Could You Resist Kissing This Dimple??

From my journal -  November 16, 2009

"I turned on the shower, opened the test box - seriously, I felt just like Charlie, opening his bar of Willy Wonka Chocolate, hoping and hoping there was a golden ticket inside, yet steeling my heart against a disappointment, praying even as I took the test: Lord, I trust your plan. Watched the test do its thing...one line...TWO LINES..."

I want to see little children adorning every home, as flowers adorn every meadow and every wayside. I want to see them welcomed to the homes they enter, to see their parents grow less and less selfish, and more and more loving, because they have come. I want to see God's precious gifts accepted...

Kate, from Stepping Heavenward

You'll forgive all these babylove photos and quotes. It's the babymoon, you know, the falling in love with God's gift and with the new shape of one's family.

LC took this last photo. I loved it!

Have a blessed Sabbath. We'll be saying sad goodbyes tomorrow to my parents and niece. God is good.

  1. Look at that dimple! It's huge. You don't ever outgrown dimples do you? I hope not. So cute.
