Is it a Latte if the Milk and Coffee Aren't Mixed?

Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?"
Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD.
You have filled my heart with greater joy
than when their grain and new wine abound.
I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone,
O LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:6-8

309 it is well with my soul because of Jesus

310 a little time alone with each of the five big girls over the past week

311 the random, graspy movements of baby's thin, wrinkly fingers

312 my husband, who is just plain amazing...he has served, and worked, and helped, and encouraged to no end...God loves me well through this man

313 CJ in real clothes today - a tiny pink jacket over her pale green dress, on her one week birthday

314 buying M&M's for CA's 3rd birthday this weekend (for her cookies!)

315 His sovereign purposes in difficulties

316 encouragement from dear friends

317 those dimples!

318 all the help and support from my mom...tireless servant she is...more of God caring for us through His children

319 that it's still summer

320 holding her, all balled up, on my shoulder

321 the meals people have brought - delicious, amazing, so, so good - Thank you guys, so much! One family brought breakfast - did I say that here already? What a GREAT idea!

322 the absolutely astounding miracle: God has given us another child - and a surprise one, at that!

323 the tears...oh yes, hormones, emotions, sentimentality, lack of sleep....

324 that God brings this to mind often, an idea from Ann Voskamp over at A Holy Experience: "Smile, you know not if you will pass this way again." This, when things feel a bit overwhelming

325 things take so long to do right now - felt tempted to be frustrated by this, but then gave thanks (see # 324)

326 his kisses on her head

327 introducing CJ to my dad on Monday night

328 pearls

329 her breath

330 a few hours of quiet in the house today: just BB, me, and CJ - MaMa and PaPa took all five of the big girls out for grandparent time

331 pomegranate Italian soda - how fun! Thanks, A!

332 the big mouthed smiles while she's asleep
