*I meant to include this link. I found this linked at A Holy Experience. Do read it. It's such an encouragement! Also, added a few mercies at the bottom of this post.
I need Thee, O, I need Thee!
Every hour, I need Thee.
O bless me now, my Savior, I come to Thee.
Annie S. Hawks
And then that song was in my heart. Over and over. I looked up and read the verses of the song, and they are nice, but really, it's just the refrain that I need today. Everyday.
I need Thee, O I need Thee!
Every hour, I need Thee!
One good way to take the edge off any challenge is to laugh, of course. So, here, to make you smile (and me, too) are some recent shots of you-know-who, our covert Ninja warrior, CA, demonstrating a stunt, yes indeed, a skill I did not know she possessed. I'm providing a play by play series of photos here, so you can see how it's done:
Sometimes CA spends a little more time than is necessary in the bathroom. I know now what's she's been up to, at least some of the time: learning to hang upside down from the sink, of course. I happened to catch her in the act the other day, with her ever so casually throwing those feet up there and then hanging. To my open-mouthed surprise.
So I said to her, "Hey, do that one more time so I can take your picture, okay? But then don't ever do it again." To this she replied that she needed to go get her Ninja mask. Alrighty. Makes this even more interesting. I didn't actually get a perfect shot of her hanging. Only of her falling down while trying to hang. But she can do it, rest assured.
Oh, she cracks me up!
And, as I showed her this post, she informed me, "That's Ninja Guh." Just FYI, folks.

Only CA!!! {Is she wearing an older sister's school uniform?}
ReplyDeleteI've got the refrain echoing in my mind now... it's a good and needed echo.
No, not a sister's uniform (they are all so much bigger than her...and so close to each others' sizes!). In ordering the dresses online, I'd considered a little one for her, just for fun...then decided against it - or so I thought. When the order arrived, I had one size 12, two 10's and a 4! Kept the 4, had to order another 12! :-) She's cute in her pretend uniform!
ReplyDeleteIt's easy to see why she loves a good ole Bad Bob story...his mischief makes her eyes dance. Good thing she wants the occasional Good Bob story thrown in. She is such a sweet little character.
