Good, Blinding Sun

There are not many words coming to me lately...

But I'm looking to His Words for direction and truth and encouragement and wisdom and....the list goes on!

I love playing around with sunlight in photos, so here are a few fun ones from the other day. The first one makes me happy because it's a rare one - all of them together, enjoying the same activity, AND capturing it with the camera! The other pictures are just sunny-wonderful.

Here are some of the verses God put on my heart -

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, you will hear a voice behind you saying, "This is the way, walk in it." Isaiah 30:21

For in Him we live and exist... Acts 17:8

So from now on, we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:16-18

Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus - who died, more than that, who was raised to life - is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? Romans 8:34-35

I hope you have a blessed Wednesday, with eyes to see His Providential care from hour to hour.

I'm beginning a list of mercies, keeping in mind that at times God's mercies are severe or at least not terribly obvious or comfortable to me at first...

1-Tomato Basil Cream Soup: can of tomato paste, can of tomato sauce, small carton of cream, dried basil, pepper. Mmmm! Almost like La Madeleine's...

2-Going to a baby shower for a mom of triplets

3-70 degrees in January

4-Sweeping the porch in 70 degrees

5-Watching the kids laugh and play on the aforementioned warm day

6-Feeling itty bitty taps - baby #5 is big enough for me to feel
