Out of Hibernation!

For, "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever." I Peter 1:24-25

Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. Song of Solomon 2:12

Rejoicing in springtime...the three younger girls and I had an unexpected chunk of time the other day and we seized it, zipping off to our favorite park - we don't zip off very often and we've seen very little of this spot through the fall and wintertime.

Driving into it, we saw a little patch of grape hyacinth. I don't know that I've ever seen them growing here. Doesn't the purple just pop?! The girls were great about being willing to stop and let me take pictures!

Now we are but a night's sleep and a few hours away from welcoming our much-anticipated guests. The house is ready - what great workers my girls (and BB!) are!

I hope and pray that God gives you and me grace to recognize His mercies each day. May He shower you with tender kindnesses that refresh your heart. It's my prayer that you know Him better and better. Thanks for stopping in!

[Jesus said,] "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry"... Matthew 6:28-31
