He is My Help

I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber...Psalm 121:1-3

baskets of laundry, washed and folded by mom

a tidy kitchen this morning (mom again)

hitting the point in pregnancy at which I'm picking up things off the floor with my right foot and toes, since I cannot bend and because my left knee just doesn't work these days

that I did not go into labor over the weekend, in spite of praying hard that I would, so the baby would come while my dad was here - obviously, God has better plans!

special encouragements sent by the Lord from friends

laundry put away

my bed made up

that God is my Help - talking with Him frequently these days about labor and delivery!

little things getting done before baby comes...thank you notes from the girls for their birthday gifts

organic raspberries and strawberries on the cheap from Costco recently!

BB working from home 3 days a week

Mrs. M keeping the girls while I ran back-to-school errands and took a nap!

long mornings of discipline with CA - not fun, but right...praying for fruitfulness from it, a little heart that grows into wanting to obey Jesus (and mommy and daddy!)

overhearing CA talking to herself: "You monkeys, you! You give me back my caps! Tsz! Tsz! Tsz!" (from the children's book, Caps for Sale)

CA sporting her new pink cowboy boots - hilarious, cute...thanks, MaMa!

my three cups of raspberry leaf tea each day...they don't taste good, but it's one of those "getting ready for baby" routines I'm doing, and I am glad to have a reason to drink them!
