Miss Dimple Wimple is Three Months

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

She's reaching.
She's laughing and squealing.
She has her preferences: no cradling, please! Face me out, keep me upright!

She chews her hands and fingers.
Seems to be trying to decide which to suck: fingers or thumb.
Kicks her chubby legs and feet, rubs them together like a little chirping cricket.

She charms us all with her ready smile and those dimples.
We've lost count of how many she has.
When she's sad, we're sad.
Her first fever made us all fret.

And she sleeps.

And sleeps...
Everywhere: on the floor in the middle of all the action, in our arms, sitting up, hanging around, in the car.

And we praise her Creator for sending her to us, for allowing us to know her and enjoy her...

  1. She looks so cute! I'm thrilled that the sweater and hat fit. I hope it still does when it is actually cool enough for her to need it at Thanksgiving. Her little smile is precious!
