Happy 2011!

We've been Back Home for the past week, visiting and Christmasing with family and friends. The drive west is Sunday. Since the week has been crazy-full, there's not been much time for processing thoughts, happenings. But I can give thanks, I can list mercies...

578 a quiet, peaceful, shorter-than-usual drive here (not the normal 14 hours)

579 catching up with those we see too rarely

580 the rabble of grandkids playing together

581 God protecting CJ during her croup episode

582 God giving us wisdom and direction to know how to help CJ

583 God opening a space for her to see a doctor while here

584 stretching...more heart-stretching

585 seeing snow all around once we arrived here...they had a white Christmas - very rare!!

586 steps in the right direction

587 Mexican beef stew

588 that He is a Mountain-Mover

589 this verse: He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. 2 Timothy 1:9

Happy New Year! Praise God for the mercy of each new day, for the beginning of a fresh year. Oh, that I would serve Him well, know Him better in 2011!

  1. Happy New Year my dear friend! I believe, with faith, that He who has begun a great work will continue to move mountains and complete it in 2011!

    Love your little Christmas pixies.
