I really have few words right now. Just so thankful, overwhelmed with gratitude and joy to Him, and to him...this man. Oh, does he ever have my heart!

Today, in a little courtroom here Back Home, BB and I sat before a judge with AH between us, our attorney beside us, my parents behind us, and we welcomed our new daughter legally and finally into our family.
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Indeed, those blessings overflow so that I hardly know what to do with myself.
Headed back to Texas on Friday. I hope to write a thoughtful post soon, with photos from this day.

ReplyDeletePS, All of my clocks are set 10 minutes fast (drives my family nuts but I do it for me) and your birthday wish was 8 minutes too early as a result, I had to laugh when I saw the time post of 11:52 but my family had the bigger laugh :) It sounds like your birthday was super memorable, finalizing the adoption. Easter, birthday, Mother's Day, the perfect trifecta of happy.
