Bless the Lord, O my soul
O, my soul
Worship His holy Name
Sing like never before, O my soul
I'll worship Your holy Name
The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning
It's time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass, whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes
You're rich in love and You're slow to anger
Your Name is great and Your heart is kind
For all Your goodness I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find
(from Matt Redmond's 10,000 Reasons)
Say hello to AH's owls. Aren't they charming? Full of personality?
She made them by herself, designing and cutting and hand-sewing them in her quiet moments.
Over time, her mama owl has reproduced - first one, then two, followed by a third sweet little owlet.
Even this is one of the many reasons I bless the Lord today: that AH is creating. I think it is a sign of healing and hope. So encouraging.
For the life of me, I cannot really get good photos of Baby H since he was born. But I can't let the quest for a perfect photo stop me from documenting his tiny miraculous life.
My heart is full and glad and again, blessing the Lord, that Baby H is here and is doing so well. I was just looking at him sleeping, thinking We prayed for this. We made it. Our family is still strong, though this adventure was hard for everyone at times. Baby is here and he is strong. Thank You, God, thank You!
It's happy to see these two completely uninhibited fun-seekers enjoying impromptu (What? I should ask mom and dad before I go play in the sprinkler?!) water games.
Mom got here safely, another reason to give thanks, and she's going to town on our always-piled-up laundry. Nice!
Once I got home from the hospital, I knew I had a fair amount of back-to-school business to organize and manage. God's tender mercy on that one: so far, it's been very easy and simple - some online ordering here, and an errand or two there. It's all coming together, peacefully. What a blessing from His hand.
One more photo of Baby, just because...
Have a blessed and restful Sabbath, friends!
The owls are darling... just as your own 7 little owlets are! Yes, the creating, this is SO good.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Love your sprinkler babies!
